Hey, I'm Tenniell
I've had a camera in hand since I was 8, and I've been lucky enough to spend my whole life on the Mornington Peninsula — so photographing weddings down here feels a bit like showing people around my own backyard.
My thing is storytelling. Not stiff lines of people squinting into the sun, not a shot list as long as your arm. I want the bit where your nan loses it during the speeches, the look your partner gives you when they think nobody's watching, your mates piling in for a hug before you've even had a chance to put your glass down. Beauty in the everyday — that's what keeps me inspired, and your wedding day is full of those moments.
What it's like having me there
Easy, I hope. We'll start with a proper chat — in person over a coffee, or on Zoom if that's simpler — and go through the whole day so I know your people, your timings and what actually matters to you. On the day I'll be around without being in the way, and I'll bring a second shooter so nothing gets missed.
You'll get a sneak peek not long after, your full gallery within two weeks, and a box of fine art prints you can actually hold — because photos that only live on a phone aren't really doing their job.
Anywhere on the Peninsula (and beyond)
Vineyard, beach, backyard, a shed done up with fairy lights — I'm here for all of it. Most of my couples get married somewhere between Mornington and the tip of the Peninsula, but if you're further afield, ask me anyway.
